Charles Leroy "Chuck" Adrian

Charles Leroy “Chuck” Adrian, 92, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 30, 2018. He was born on June 16, 1926 to Howard and Laura Miller Adrian. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Howard.

Chuck was a Real Estate Broker with the Columbus Board of Realtors from 1954 until his passing. His passion for affordable housing, community redevelopment, and commercial real estate was realized through his company Adrian, Inc. and helped shape many communities throughout Columbus. Charles attended The Ohio State University and enlisted in the Coast Guard following the bombing of Pearl Harbor during WWII. He was a loyal Mason, avid golfer, and author. His lifelong passion for learning about history and religion inspired him to travel around the world.

Charles is survived and will be missed by his son Matthew Adrian (Stephanie), Sara Adrian, David Adrian (Kristia), Amy Davis (Chuck) and Ann Adrian. He will also be dearly missed by Sue Matthews, and by their grandchildren Ben, Lauren, Elizabeth, Joe, Kate, Christopher, Katherine, Alexis, and Misha.

The funeral service for Chuck will be held at 10am Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7pm Friday, July 6, 2018. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
