I am so sorry to hear about Chuck. I am a former class mate that has many great memories of Chuck.  With our class reunion weekend just passing it sure brings those fond memories close. My sympathy to you all as I am sure you miss him dearly.  Renee Capitena Waid

Maureen, Megan, Kelly, and Ryan,

 I was sadden and grief stricken to hear the loss of an old dear friend. Even though you and I have never met, I just wanted you to know that Chuck was one of my best friends back at Edgewood during our high school years. We shared so many old memories.  In fact we even ran as a team for Class president our Senior year. Chuck was always a class act. A friend to share good times and bad, who loved to laugh and enjoyed life, A type of friend that you could count on to stand by you in every event and share in your joy. We tried to stay in touch as we parted ways for college. I've been in Texas ever since. We tried e-mails and an occasional call. I regret we did not do more of that. I do recall the last time we spoke how we laughed as we reminisced about old times. I can't stop thinking about we talked about our lives and our families. He went on about how blessed he was and how much he loved each of you.  

My heart and prayers are with you at this time. Take comfort that heis with our lord and we too will all be together again. I will never forget him.

I will always remember his ability to share a story on any topic.  He had an engineer's analytical sense of humor, and I liked him for it. My deepest sympathy & heartfelt sorrow, to all of Chuck’s family, during these very difficult times. I was very sorry & saddened, to hear the news, of  your loss. I grew up next door to the Dunick family and I remember what a wonderful kid Chuck was! We always called him Chucky, as he was growing up. I had such a hard time making the transition in calling him Chuck. No matter when I would see him, he was always tossing around a football. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. Whenever, my family & I would make the trip back home to visit with my Mom & Dad, Chucky would always make sure he came over to say hello! My boys were really young then & they would get such a thrill, that a guy Chucky’s age would come over to play catch with them. For as much as they looked up to him, I am positive they thought he was a professional football player!  I know all of you will miss him terribly, and so will many others who had the good fortune of knowing him. The days ahead will be difficult without him, but his love & your memories of Chuck will live with you forever in your hearts. It is through these memories that you will be able to face the future.
