

GRAVES
Charles Clinton Graves a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, age 95 of Grove City. Born in Washington Court House to Roy and Jeannie Graves. Graduate of Sabina High School, 1939. He played minor league baseball for Cleveland and was offered to play pro baseball for the Cincinnati Reds, however, WWII began and his country called him to serve in the Army for the next two years and four months. During that time he was promoted to Staff Sergeant in charge of an anti-aircraft battery in the European Theatre. After returning home he married the love of his life Frances (Enright) and they were married for 70 wonderful years. He attended the First Presbyterian Church, retired from ConRail after 42 years of service. He enjoyed 30 years of retirement with his family and friends. Charlie was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing, basketball, baseball, bowling and golf. Preceded in death by his son; Richard Graves, sister; Barb and brother-in-law Don Scott, brother; Don Graves, and sister-in-law Betty, first grandchild; Troy Michael Rogers. Charlie is survived by his loving wife Fran, daughter; Constance (Michael) Tiller of Grove City, son; Mark (Angela) Graves, of Tennessee, daughter-in-law; Carol Graves of Grove City, grandchildren; Michael (Heidi) Rogers, Robert Shane (Tina) Koehler, Bobby (Cindy) Davis, great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Bailey Rogers, Meredythe and Liam Graves, Angie and Nick Davis, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. A private family service will be held at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL. Burial will be at Grove City Cemetery with Pastor Tom Phillips officiating. In lieu of flowers you may contribute to Mt.
