Charles F. Hardin, age 83, of Blacklick, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was born in Louisa, Kentucky on August 14, 1941 to the late Ethel (Miller) and Jack Hardin. Chuck was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed spending time on the golf course. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sisters, Nell LeMaster, Frances Tomlin, and Grace McKenzie and son-in-law, Warren Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty (Bauer) Hardin; daughters, Ginger (Gil) Ciaca and Vicki Jackson; grandchildren, TJ, Kassi, Ricky, Monica, Antonio “Boo”, Victor, and Jaxon; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Emilio, and Evita; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 pm Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
