Charles William Jenkins

He was born June 12, 1955 at Doctors North Hospital in Columbus to the late William Ellsworth and Pearl Mildred (Folden) Jenkins. Charlie served in The United States Army 8th Sky Calvary Special Troops. He was a graduate of Columbus State Community College. Charlie married Teri Lynn Hall on Dec. 31st 1996 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church. He was a hair designer, salon owner, and salon spa consultant serving the industry for over 39 years. He was an enthusiast of sports car racing, extreme outdoor sports, and golf. He was a loving husband, father, papa, and friend; adventuresome, and fun.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Rhodes; and brothers, Larry Rhodes, and Gene Rhodes. Charlie will be missed by his loving wife, Teri Lynn Jenkins; daughters, Cora Jenkins, Tara Doughty, Katie (Doug) Leedy, and Kelly (Branden) Joe; grandchildren, Evelyn Main, Owen, Alex, and Reagan Leedy, Presley and Emersyn Joe, and Jayden and Justin Doughty; and brother, James (Judy) Jenkins and family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, where family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
