Charles Clifford Jones

Charles was born in Columbus on August 22, 1927 to the late Henry and May Jones. Charles was also preceded in death by his first wife of 62 years, Clarabel and a granddaughter, Erika; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Charles is survived by his wife, Joyce; two daughters, Cathy (Mark) Phillips and Diana (Carmel) Muncy; five grandchildren, Angie, Lisa, Heather, Charity and Hollie; 13 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters and a brother.

Charles worked in the building industry as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was also a retired auxiliary deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. He was a member of Blendon Woods Lodge #339 F. and A.M. Charles favorite activity was spending quality time with his many grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH. where Masonic services will begin at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bud Brown, officiating. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Gardens, Pastor Jerry Sargent, officiating.
