Charles M. "Dock" Lowery

Charles M. “Dock” Lowery, 85, of Circleville, passed away November 11, 2010 at Pike Community Hospital in Waverly. He was born November 30, 1924 in Chillicothe, the son of the late William Henry and Mary (Nesser) Lowery. Dock was also preceded in death by a son, Kris; great-great-grandson, Zaidan; brothers, David, Lauren and Lawrence, Jimmy and Johnny, Arthur, George and Roger Lowery; sisters, Mabel Sark, Audrey Adams and Alice Myers. He is survived by his children Charles (Bernice) Lowery, Mary Lott, David (Marsha) Lowery, Harry and Rick Lowery; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann and Jane Lowery; and very special nephew and caregiver Jimmy Lowery. Dock was retired from the City of Circleville Service Department and loved farming, horses and fishing. He was a hard worker, had a good heart and loved kids. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger with Rev. Willie Haddox officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30am Saturday until the time of service. To send condolences www.schoedinger.com.
