Cheryl J. Patzer

She earned her degree in nursing from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Most recently she retired from Easton Health Care as a Director of Nursing. Cheryl loved Columbus Crew Soccer and was a member of Nordecke. She was also a soccer coach for Grove City Kids Association and served as a Jackson Township Trustee. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, along with having a green thumb and a jungle of plants. She also adored her animals. She showed her love and concern any way that she could, whether that be making one of her delicious dishes or crocheting an afghan. Cheryl also loved spending time with her grandchildren making cookies and crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Constance Patzer. She is survived by her children, Michaelene "Mikie" (Christopher) Morris, Christopher Zerhusen and Taylor Zerhusen; grandchildren, Patton, Constance, Grant and Jackson; siblings, Brian, Scott, Linda and Chuck; niece, Savanna and nephew, Michael; other relatives and friends.

A memorial prayer service for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10 am in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St. Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. Inurnment to follow. There will be a public celebration to honor her life from 12 to 3 pm at Grove City Brewing Company, 3946 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123
