Christine Meeker

Christine "Christy" Meeker, age 62, passed away August 23rd, 2019. She was born September 18, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Rufus and Joann Markham, Jr. Christy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles, listening to music, going to concerts and movies, and travelling with her daughters. Her family was very important to her and she cherished the time that she was able to spend with them. She also enjoyed meditation and yoga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Meeker. Christy is survived by children, Vanessa Kinney, Erin (Jon) Gaal, Kate Meeker, Brandi (Duke) Burns, and Robert (Angie) Meeker; grandchildren Hannah, Matthew, Samuel, Nila, JR and Amelia; siblings, Cathy Baer, John (Nancy) Markham, and Suzanne (Ted) Daniels; and many other family members. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. August 27th, 2019 at Glen Forest Cemetery, US Rt 68 N., Yellow Springs, OH 45387. In addition, all are welcome to join Christine's family for a celebration of her life from 4-7 p.m. August 27th, 2019, at Cedar Ridge Lodge in the Battelle Darby Creek Park at 1775 Darby Creek Dr., Galloway, OH 43119.
