Christopher Herbert Chittum

Christopher Herbert Chittum, age 27, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on January 26, 2015. He was born October 21, 1987 in Columbus to Chris and Janet Chittum as a big bundle of joy from God and was a 2006 graduate of Grove City High School. Christopher enjoyed playing cards with friends, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and playing basketball. He will be remembered for his competitive spirit and caring heart. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Nicole (Taylor) Chittum; grandmothers, Janice Chittum-Rowe and Mary Schmitz; cousin and best friend William Imboden; father-in-law Steve (Trish) Taylor; sister-in-law Elizabeth Taylor; aunt Kim (Bill) Imboden; uncle David (Kristen) Chittum; aunt Sara Baer; aunt Terri (Stan) Sheldon; uncle Bill (Sarah) Schmitz; aunt Cathy (Eric) Daily; uncle John Schmitz; great aunts Sister Rita Schmitz, Jane Anne Schmitz, Mary Sue Schmitz; many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Ray and Marguerite Hafey; great-grandmother Sadie Schmitz; grandfather Herbert A. Chittum; grandfather Arthur Schmitz. Christopher will be greatly missed. Family will welcome friends 5-8pm Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio, 43123. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, OH 43123; Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
