

Christopher Daniel “Chris” Groce, age 40, of Columbus, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday, February 27, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 30, 1971. He was a 1990 graduate of Briggs High School. Chris was a very talented artist. He loved music, writing, drawing and motorcycles. Chris was in 3 bands, Livid, X Factor 1 and Sporatic Still and operated PuddingHouse Publications. He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Owens. Chris is survived by his wife, Anissa Matiaszuk-Groce and her sons, Justin and Joseph; his son, Hunter Groce-Klein (The family would like to thank Jackie and Adam Klein for bringing Hunter home from Japan); parents, Rich and Debbie Groce and Jennifer (Gene Bradford) Bosveld; brother, David (Tina) DeRhodes; grandpa, Robert Miller; special friend, Tom Conley; his extended family Ron and Verna Autenreith and their son, Chris; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thank you to the Price family, especially Tyler Price, who will honor Chris’s love for music at his service and our Warehouse 839 church family. Friends may call on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where a celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 10:00AM. Pastor Karen Muntzing officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
