Christopher L. "Chip" Morgan

Christopher L. “Chip” Morgan, 61, of Circleville, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1952 in Circleville, the son of the late Leo Davis and Christine M. (Schreiner) Morgan. Chip was a 1971 graduate of Circleville High School. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Chip was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. He worked construction with his dad for many years at L.D. Morgan & Son and was presently employed at Arlington Construction as a superintendent.

Chip is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janelle R. (Thompson) Morgan; daughter, Krista McAfee; granddaughter, Sadie Morgan McAfee; brother, Larry A. (Kyle) Morgan; nephew, Spencer Morgan; aunts, Rosemary Hunsicker, Mary Schreiner and Doris Cloud; uncles, Bob (Joy) Morgan and Ned (Faye) Schreiner; and numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville with The Rev. Dr. Gerhard Kraus officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Sunday. The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 E.
