Clara was a spunky women. Her sense of humor was something to admire.  for instance: We met up at another funeral the Monday after thanksgiving. Clara walked up to me and said.. Ah your one of those beautiful people and she smiled.. then she said I hate those people..It blew me away. I couldn't stop laughing.. and the rest of the conversation about men was funnier but i'll keep that to those that were there.. We'll meet up again in Heaven

So sorry Clara has left you until you see each other again. But she is with the Lord now. I know my parents enjoyed being around Bob and Clara. They definitely loved their sense of humor. After my Mom passed away my Dad would visit Clara every now and then, and OF COURSE she would have to make sure she fed him a good home cooked meal. Being Christmas time I will surely miss her yearly Christmas card. Unfortunately years went by that I didnt see Clara, however, she never did forget me during the holidays! That meant so much to me. That's how she was. A loving, caring,and thoughtful woman!!!

You couldn't ask for a better Neighbor and Friend then Clara, She watched the house and kids and always could hear her laughing on the back porch. I knew someone was telling jokes. Her and Bill and Carla used to exchanged jokes. If I heard her yell at my kids I knew they did something wrong. She was a grandma to them and was so good to everyone. When my grandkids started living out here, I told them not to bother her playing over there. She wanted them too. She loved children. She would call them over and give them treats. Just this past fall she called me over and gave me a doll for my granddaughter Bailey. She felt bad cause she didn't have anything to give Landyn. But laughed at how he was a spitting image of Billy. When we told Landyn and Bailey Ms Lindsay went to Heaven, they just cryed.  She is going to be dearly missed in the neighborhood. After my husband died that Janurary she sent me a Easter card and said Dear Ellen, I know how you feel. You don't know unless you go threw it your self. That was worth a million dollars to me that she knew I was still hurting and sent me a card months later. She did know and she was right. Noone could know unless they go through it. She was so wise. I can't say enough about the whole Lindsay family. For generations she blessed us and now God has taken her home. Prayers go out to the whole Lindsay Family.

Clara has been my friend for over 40 years. She was always there when I needed a shoulder to cry on, when my Mother ,Sister,and my Husband passed away, she comforted me and we talked about difficult times, she always seemed to have a answer to any concerns and made me feel better.. She had a big impact on my children growing up. They talked to her like she was their grandmother. My daughters little girls just simply adored her.They was at the house just before Thanksgiving and visited her. I will always remember all her and Carla did to help my husband when he was sick and I had to work, and all the memories from Years ago when we played Yatzee with my Mom  and sisters till late at night, and the memories of my Dad teasing Clara and how she just laughed at him. She was a true friend that you could depend on to be there at anytime to talk to, I will miss you so much Clara and the times we sit on the back porch and drank coffee and talked.Rest in peace my dear friend.You will always be in my thoughts.
