Clara Jean Reed

Clara Jean Reed, 86, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 16, 2015. She was born March 26, 1929 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to the late Maurice and Clara (Phillips) Gifford. She was a graduate of Berryville H.S., Berryville, Arkansas and was a former Chartroom Supervisor for the Central Ohio Medical Clinic. Family and friends were very important her. Clara was a member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church and the Happy Homemakers Club. She was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and gardening. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reed; 4 brothers; and 5 sisters. Clara is survived by daughters, Debbie (David) Crites, Theresa (Bryan) Van Dine, and Roberta (Brian) Breneman; grandsons, Robert Crites, David (Kim) Crites, Brandon (Mandie) Breneman, and Douglas Breneman; great-grandchildren, Payten, Reagan, and Ryder Crites; sisters, Marcella (Don) Graves, Anita (Frank) Belluomini, and Carolyn (Dick) Wells; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 3 - 8 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday. Graveside service and committal will be held 10 AM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Viney Creek Cemetery, Golden, Missouri.
