Clarence D. James, 63, of Columbus, passed away on May 2, 2016. He was born on December 31, 1952 to the late Jack and Lois (Brobst) James. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gayette (Womack) James; siblings Jackie James, Ricky Doughty and Pamela Baird; and granddaughter Haley Hickman. Clarence proudly served in the US Army and was a member of the Church of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by his son and daughter, Jack and Lois James; and his siblings Karen (George) Roush, Raymond (Peggy) Doughty, Lorene VonDriska, Robert (Marilyn) James, Peggy (Jim) Davis, and Sheri (Darius) Matulionis. A memorial service for Clarence will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10am at the Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road. Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
