

Clarence Edward Miller, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010. He was born December 31, 1928 in Lockbourne, Ohio to the late Wesley and Jessie Miller. Clarence served in the US Army at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the City of Columbus where he was a certified Waste Water Treatment Center Technician. Clarence died of complications due to Alzheimer’s Disease. He was in good health most of his life and rarely missed a day of work. He was a hardworking provider for his family. Clarence was very active and he accomplished something every day of his life. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy L. (Moore) Miller; and siblings, Norman, Willard, Mable Louise, and Nelson. Clarence is survived by his children, Genesis E. Miller, Gale D. Hart, Kathy A. Howard, Carmen M. York, Connie L. Smith, and John D. Miller; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and brother, Roy Miller. His life will be honored with a visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 13 and a funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 14 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery. Contributions in Clarence’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
