Clyde Davis, 82, passed away on Monday January 23, 2017. He was born on August 26, 1934 to the late James and Lydia Davis in Latham, Ohio. Clyde joined the United States Army in 1952 and retired a decorated war hero in 1972. He served his country in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his military career Clyde worked for National Electric Coil and retired after 20 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Martha L.; children, Tom (Tracey) Davis, Ken Davis, Robert Davis, Lisa Cox, Cynthia (Chris) Cripps, Katrina Davis and Clyde Lee Davis; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul, Pauline, Blanche, and Donald. In addition to his parents Clyde is preceded in death by his siblings Archie, Sherman and Raymond. Visitation will be Monday January 30, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Schoedinger East Chapel5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
