Constance "Connie" G. McNeal

Constance “Connie” G. McNeal, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 19, 2025. She was born on October 1, 1932 in Belmont County, Ohio. She joins in death her parents Cecil and Clara (Graham) Grimes; loving husband Robert McNeal; son Gary McNeal and siblings William Grimes, Ronald Grimes and Columbine Barker. She leaves behind her children Greg McNeal, Cindy Phillips and Janice (Rick) Miller. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family members and friends. Connie cherished all of those she ever met (she knew no stranger). She was the rock of her family and cherished them deeply. Connie loved every bit of her life, she would break out in song often with a jingle and put smiles on the faces of those around her. She loved keeping her yard pristine and threatened any dandelion with a butcher knife that dared to grow. She lived to honor, worship, and serve her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She was filled with joy when she was surrounded by her church family. She loved music and sang in her church choir well into her 80's. We know the Good Lord welcomed her home on Wednesday with open arms, placing a crown on her head chanting, well done, good and faithful servant. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 26, 2025 from 11AM to 12:30PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. A graveside service will follow the visitation in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio at 1PM with pastor Josue De La Cruz officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may by made in Connie’s name to the West Broad Church of the Nazarene, 7430 W Broad St., Galloway, OH 43119.
