Cynthia Golden

Cynthia "CeCe" C. Golden, passed away June 1, 2021.She was born December 30, 1940, in Wooster, Ohio to the late William and Ellen Catliff. Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Kristine Williams, step daughters; Beverly Denney and Gail Koza, step son, Gary Golden, sisters; Elaine Ellis (Gahanna, OH), and Miriam Totten (Wooster,OH), nephews; Robert Ellis, Mike Ellis, Mathew Totten, and Andrew Totten, along with many family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by; her loving husband of 35years, Robert L. Golden (Columbus, OH) and her ex-husband Joel E. Williams (Columbus, OH). Cynthia was an incredible person. She loved being around people and children, especially her family, sharing her care and joy. Cynthia was gifted when it came to music, not only having good taste, but she grew up playing the piano and violin. When she attended Heidelberg College she got the opportunity to travel to Europe to sing with choir and share her beautiful voice. Even with Alzheimer's music still touched her heart and mind. Everyone was grateful when she cooked because she was the best, recalling on her famous artichoke dip or shepherd's pie. Her last few years at the Grove Memory Care of Oak Leaf Village, she was very happy and loved by the staff. She was a bright presence in people's lives and will be missed deeply.
