Dale William Huss

Dale W. Huss, age 92, died Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Brookdale Pinnacle. He is preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Blanche (Mercer) Huss, grandson; Jason A. Huss, and his four sisters. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Alice Huss, children; Gail (Arturo) Quintero, Terry (Waneta) Huss, Jeanne (G. Karl) Gaston, Mary (Greg) McGinnis, Renee (Chris) Collins, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and many other relatives and dear friends. He served his Country in the Army during WWII in the South Pacific. Dale retired from Aid Association for Lutherans after 30 years as a District Representative. When he retired he traveled the United States with Laborers for Christ helping build churches. He had a love for woodworking and made crosses to give away. Dale taught bible class for 25 years at St. John's Lutheran Church in Defiance, and he also did mission work starting a new church in Columbus. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 10 am at Brookdale Pinnacle 1305 Lamplighter Dr. Grove City, OH 43123 with Pastor Larry Kudart officiating.
