Dale L. Longstreth

Dale Leslie Longstreth, 90, died September 7, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Hospital. Born September 25, 1924 in Jersey, Ohio to Carl Longstreth and Mary Sherman Longstreth. Preceded in death by parents; brother Robert Longstreth; granddaughter Heather Foor. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marguerite “Martie” Walter; daughters Donna (Jerry) Foor; Lisa Burgess and Mark; grandson Dale (Angie) Foor; great-grandsons Clay and Cole Foor; brother Richard (Barbara) Longstreth; sister Mary Belle Longstreth.

He graduated from Pataskala High School. A proud veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Claycraft Brick Co. after 45 years of dedicated service.

Always with a smile on his face, he never met a stranger. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Being an outdoorsman, he took great pride in his home and his lawn.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. His Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Faith Bible Church, 12239 Morse Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062, where family will receive friends from 12 Noon to the time of service. Interment will follow at Jersey Cemetery, located on the grounds of the church.
