Dallas Ray Perkins, age 82, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Born on November 11, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Nellie (nee Conant) Perkins. He was employed with Babcock and Wilcox in Barberton, and retired with AMPEX, where he worked in Colorado, California and Taiwan. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Perkins; son Jeff Perkins; brother James Perkins. He is survived by his daughter Andrea Perkins; sisters, Marjorie (Jerome W.) Nelson and Jeanette (Tom) Aikens; sister-in-law Phyllis Perkins; nieces and nephews. Private family interment in Rose Hill Burial Park with his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association Chapter in his memory. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
