

Daniel D. “Pap” Klepser, age 64 of Gahanna, passed away October 12, 2011. Dan was born in Ashland, Ohio, son of the late Robert and Hazel Klepser. Also preceded in death by mother-in-law, Albea Lamson and sister-in-law, Connie Klepser. Dan graduated from Ashland Senior High School, Class of 1965 and immediately following he proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War. Following, Dan worked 20 years as a manager of Elby’s Restaurant and another 20 years with Master Foods. Currently Dan is employed with Safe Lift, Meal-on-Wheels. When someone spent time with Dan, there was never a dull moment. He was hilarious and had a great personality. He also was man of great integrity who acted with grace and mercy and believed that morals were of the upmost importance. He was an active member of the Ohio Right to Life organization and also a longtime active member of Christian Assembly Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed traveling, appreciated nature, was an avid Buckeyes and Steelers fan, but most of all, Dan loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Jan Klepser; children, Molly (Todd) Dennison and Ben (Alisa) Klepser; grandchildren, Noah, Noelle, and Nash Dennison and Rylan and Garrett Klepser; siblings, Garry Klepser and Jayne (David) Metcalf; brother-in-law, Bill (Pam) Lamson; sister-in-law, Peggy (Joe) Hayes; nieces, Katie (Craig) Anderson, Jill (Brian) Miller, Josie (Brock) Eader, and Marissa Metcalf; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Christian Assembly Church, 4099 Karl Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Pastor Torry Gligora officiating. Interment Arlington Field of Honor Cemetery, Canal Winchester. Contributions may be made to Ohio Right to Life, 88 E.
