

Dan K. Niles, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Dan was born on February 9, 1956, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to the late Harold and Pauline Niles. Also preceding in death was his sister, Joyce Niles. Dan attended Bucyrus High School where he was on the tennis team. He continued his education earning multiple Master's Degrees from The Ohio State University. Dan loved to golf, was an avid Buckeye fan and a long-suffering Cleveland Browns fan. He spent many vacations with his wife attending dog shows, cheering on his wife and dogs then happily collecting the ribbons that were earned. His highlight was when he and his dog Angelique were on ESPN for the Inaugural AKC Fast CAT Invitational in 2020 where they earned 12th place honors. Dan will be deeply missed by his loving wife Laure (Vereb) Niles; sister-in-law Lisa (Don) Shultz; nephew Christopher Shultz; nieces Kellie (Michael) Hilty and Kathryn (Jon) Swift; great-nieces and nephews; and dogs Ally, Angelique, LeMarc, and Jackson. Honey, you left us way too soon, but I know that those who have been waiting at the Rainbow Bridge are happy to be with you again.
