Dan E. Rogers

Dan E. Rogers, age 66, born October 17, 1943, passed away Friday, September 03, 2010 at The Ohio State Medical Center. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran. Dan and his wife Mary enjoyed travelling especially to Mexico and he was an avid golfer. Dan is preceded in death by his father, Chester Arthur Rogers. Survived by loving wife of 19 years, Mary (Applegate) Rogers; son, Dan R. Rogers; grandsons, Dillon Rogers and Donny Thatcher; great-grandsons, Dwight & Dylon; mother, Ruth Rogers; sister, Diana Steele; 3 brothers, Paul, Glenn and Raymond Rogers; Special family friends, Richard Garrett and Trisha Furman; close family friend, Maria Gibson; along with several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 10am, Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Fr. Thomas Petry and Rev. Andrew Hoover co-officiating. Interment to follow the service at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of Donor’s choice or the American Cancer Society.
