

Daniel William Wagner, age 69 of Dublin, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. Daniel was born and raised in Piqua, Ohio, son of the late Daniel and Helen Wagner. Also preceded in death by infant brother, Bruce A. Wagner. Graduate of Piqua High School where he played football and also a proud graduate of Ohio University. Daniel retired from State Auto Insurance, was Vice President of the Hungarian Cultural Association of Columbus, Ohio, and was an active member and past Deacon of Covenant Baptist Church. He was a gentle, caring, loving and comforting man who gave great advice. He enjoyed golf, was a Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan, and loved nothing more than spending time with “his girls”. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Erzsebet Wagner; daughters, Piroska (John) Hamelers and Maria (Joseph) Boyden; granddaughter, Jordan; sister, Lynn (Keith) Ciriegio; and other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 12 P.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Covenant Baptist Church, 5100 Dierker Rd., where family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service Wednesday.
