He was born on March 14, 1963 in Springfield, Ohio to Bill and Gert Yinger. He was raised alongside his brother, Doug (Patty), and his sister, Gretchen. Dan is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shari, and his five children: Mitch, Max, Tucker, Drake, and Tessa.
A father and husband above all, he loved spending time with his family and watching his boys kick ass on the football field with Tess cheering them on. He was so very proud of each and every one of them. He lived for football at St. Matthew, St. Francis DeSales, and finally at the University of Dayton. To know Dan was to love Dan. With such a pure and authentic soul, his legacy will be cherished by his close friends and beloved family.
