David W. T. Carroll

David William Telford Carroll III, age 47, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He is survived by his father David W. T. Carroll II, mother, Linda Carroll, and sister Susannah Carroll and his cousins. David, also affectionately known as Dave, studied business at Columbus Community College and held a real estate salesman license. He worked in the restaurant business for many years, but for the last five years, he worked primarily in real estate. He was a gentle giant with a kind heart whose favorite pastime was playing disc golf. He also loved basketball, OSU football, and playing the guitar. He will be missed by his family, his many friends, and his two cats, Samson and Cassidy. Dave was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Sylvia Cook; maternal uncle Kenneth Gary Cook; and paternal grandparents William and Mary Jane Carroll. Memorial Services will be held at noon on Friday, August 27, at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232, where it is open to all friends and family. Friends may also call from 12:30-2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CHA Animal Shelter (www.chaanimalshelter.org/)
