David Charles

David Charles, 76, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on August 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wives, Ann and Tressie his parents, Fred Charles and Mary Opal; and his brothers, John D. and Arvel B.; mother-in-law, Marie Stumbo; brothers-in-law, Wade Deskins and Jerry Stylers. David will be especially missed by his loving wife Elverda; children Jimmy (Barbara) Irven, Bernie (Rita) Gayheart, and Valerie (David) Grant; his siblings William (Patsy) Charles, Thelma (Ron) Walls, Ruby Deskins, Elizabeth Stylers, James Charles, and Benjamin (Kathy) Charles; and his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. David loved the outdoors spending time playing baseball, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5-8pm and again on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 9-10am. Following visitation on Friday, a funeral service will be held at 10am. A procession to Oak Grove Cemetery at 8340 Alkire Rd, Georgesville, OH 43119 will follow the service. Memorial contributions can be made to New Mount Zion Church at 16 East High Street in Attica, Ohio 44807 where he was a member.
