David Leroy Holland

David Leroy Holland, Jr., 62, of Circleville, passed away October 6, 2010. He was born July 4, 1948 in Circleville. David was preceded in death by his father, David L. Holland, Sr. David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Debra (Green) Holland, children, Trish (William) Blanton, David A. Holland; grandchildren, Bill and Austin Blanton, Alexis Holland Bell; mother, Shirley M. (Fox) Holland; sister, Edna Mossbarger and brother, Keith Holland. David was a lifetime member of the Circleville Amvets, South Bloomfield VFW and the American Legion 757 in Chillicothe. David proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. David was very active in looking out for the Vietnam Veterans by being the District 4 Director for the State of Ohio Vietnam Veterans of America and the Secretary and Treasurer of the VVA 810. He also worked for many years at the Veterans Medical Center in Chillicothe. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking coffee with his cousins, Richard and Carol Holland but above all he loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be held 10:00AM until 12:00PM Friday, October 8, 2010 at the East Ringgold United Methodist Church 17689 Main St. Circleville, Ohio where funeral services will begin at 12:00PM.
