David Edward Minor, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2014 at the VA Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a U.S. Navy, Vietnam Veteran, having served aboard the USS Woodrow Wilson and the USS Will Rogers. He was a member of Carpenters Union #200. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Anita Nelson; survived by his loving wife, Myrna (Ankrom) Minor; sons, Geoffrey (Amy) Minor and Nathan (Suely) Minor; grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Rafael and Victoria Minor, Ruth, Ryan, Allison and Abbey Smith; nieces and nephews Terry, Mark, Rita, Brendan, Emma, John, Storm and Kateyanne Walburn. Per David's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Schoedinger East Chapel with no public services at this time. Special thanks to all of the wonderful staff at the Wesley Ridge Care Center.
