David Wayne Shaw, son of Harold and Evelyn Shaw, was born on February 25, 1963, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 61, after a defying battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
David had an enthusiasm for life that was infectious to all who knew him. David never knew a stranger and could engage in lively conversation with anyone he met. David was a globetrotter who visited many states and theme parks with his beloved staff, James Anthony. Along the way, David would collect a medley of colorful and funny t-shirts. Some of David’s other hobbies included going out to eat, knocking down pins at the bowling alley, getting creative with arts and crafts projects, visiting with his friends, and joking with staff. David attended Learning Never Ends for many years, accompanied by his dear staff Mohamed Kamara.
David had a special way of connecting with people and leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laughter, and vibrant personality. David Shaw may have left this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We hope you join us as we celebrate David’s life and legacy.
