Deanne Chavis, 75, of Columbus, Ohio died December 31, 2015 at Summit's Trace Health Care Center. Born March 12, 1940. Deanne was a caring mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by mother Isabel Brice Chavis, father Louis E. Chavis, stepmother Ruth Chavis McLaughlin, sister, Joyce Ann Moreland and brother-in-law James B. Moreland. Survived by sons, Kenneth (Carolyn), Anthony (Mary); daughter Valerie Jill (Donald) Wesley; grandchildren, Tamara, Alassondro and Amanda Roberts, Holland Wesley; nephews, Jeffrey and Eric Moreland; niece, Terri Landrum; many other family members and caring friends. Graduate of South High School. Family will receive friends 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E.
