Dennis Wayne Prechel

Dennis Wayne Prechel, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Friday November 30th, 2018. He was born on September 26, 1944 in Comfrey, Minnesota. Dennis graduated from Springfield High School and joined the Army National Guard. His career was in the finance and credit industry. Dennis was very proud as he established himself as a Vice President for Bank Ohio. He was always known for helping others and had a love for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Prechel (Griffith), William Prechel; brothers, Alvin, Melvin, Norman, Henry, and Robert; and sisters, Lorraine and Betty.

Surviving family include his children, Mindy (Jeff) Clark, Amy (Charlie) Wagner; grandchildren, Michael, Benjamin, William; brothers, Eugene (Marge) Prechel, Alfred (Connie) Prechel; sister, Sandy Brelje; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will welcome friends from 3-5 pm Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at Schoedinger NE Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna; where the memorial service will begin at 5pm. Officiated by Kai Nilsen.
