Diana H. Babbert

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 3, 1933 to the late Anna (Borowitz) and Rudolph Wiegerig. She was a graduate of South High School and a longtime employee of State Teachers Retirement System, from which she retired. A longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in German Village, she is currently a member of Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church in Powell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Babbert, in 2001.

She is survived by husband Gene Boso; daughter Kim (Pastor Michael) Nitz; son Stephen (Amy) Babbert; grandchildren Amy (Jason) Rappuhn, Michael (Jami) Hasson, Heidi Nitz, Miles Nitz, Craig (Natalie) Babbert, Kyle Babbert and Emily (Andrew) Long; great grandchildren Will Rappuhn, Casey, Madison and Makenzie Hasson, as well as a host of family and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 10-11AM at Shepherd of Peace Church, 520 Village Park Dr., Powell, OH 43065, where services will be held at 11AM with Pastor Stephen Kuehl officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
