

Diana Marie “Butterfly Di” Wirtz, passed from this mortal realm on April 8, 2010, joining hands with the Lord and Lady who have led her to the Summerlands for rest and renewal. Diana graduated from Licking Heights High School, Class of 2004, where she excelled in their nursing program. Currently she was attending Columbus State University where she was working towards becoming a veterinary tech. Also, she was currently working for Abercrombie and Fitch. Butterfly Di was the type of woman who always put others needs ahead of her own; many times acting as a caregiver to both family and friends. She was an independent thinker, never afraid to say what she thought, and she brought joy to many people’s lives. Butterfly Di would wake every morning with a smile on her face, she was strong, independent, but most of all, always happy. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Catherine O’Donnell, and cousin, Brian Clemens. She will be missed by her parents, Glenn and Deborah Wirtz; fiancé, Justin Reynolds; siblings, David Wirtz, Elizabeth and Rachel Kramer, and Philip Strait; grandparents, Harry and Jean Wirtz; aunts and uncles, Ray (Diane) and Joseph O’Donnell, Sherrie (Jack) Walker, Colleen (Kevin) Rudd, and Catherine (Charles) Ivory; and many other family members and dear friends. Ceremony of Remembrance will be held at 5 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday. Rev. Dawn Williams officiating. Diana gave the gift of life; her generosity will enable 5 lives to be saved and is signified by the infinity symbol above.
