Don J. Mygrant

Don J. Mygrant, age 79, of Westerville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born to the late Scott and Julia Mygrant on January 10, 1934 in Kokomo, IN. Don was witty with a great sense of humor. He had an infectious laugh and generous heart. Nothing delighted him more than a good game of cards. Don was a proud Eagle Scout. He retired from JC Penney as a store manager after 38 years of service. He and wife, Johnny enjoyed winters in Lakeland, Florida following spring training of the Detroit Tigers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Mygrant. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Johnita; children, Steven J. (Cynthia) Mygrant, J. Scott (Linda) Mygrant, Julie (Kyle) Wood; grandchildren, Marissa Wood, Mark Mygrant, Lindsey Wood, Michael Mygrant, John Mygrant, Dan Mygrant, K. Eric Wood, and Elizabeth Mygrant; cousins, extended family, and friends. Friends may call from 2pm-5pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High St., Worthington, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Monday, February 11, 2013.
