Donald Brockman

Paul Donald "Don" Brockman, age 79, of New Albany, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He was born November 15, 1935 in Covington, KY to the late John and Adeline Brockman and is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn; brothers, Boots, Bob, Bus, and Ed; and sisters, Evey, Joan, Mary, and Ruth. Don is survived by his children, Cynthia Kay, Peggy Ann, Deborah Lynn, and Paul Donald Jr. (Margie Hegg) Brockman; grandchildren, Rhys and Liam Brockman; sister, Mildred Brockman; and many nieces and nephews. Don was a decorated Combat Veteran; recipient of Freedom's Never Free 2013 Honored Veteran Award; and a member of Church of the Resurrection. He retired from the US Army and the US Postal Service. Friends may call 3-6 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna, Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 23 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd., New Albany. Fr. Jerome Rodenfels, Celebrant.
