Donald E. "Don" Brooks

Donald E. "Don" Brooks, Jr. age 71 of Grove City passed away Friday, May 28 2021. Don was born in January 1, 1950 in Lima, OH. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1974 and was in the Army National Guard for 12 years. Don was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Crab Club and in his free time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling. He was an insurance claims adjuster and traveled to many states with his work, including Alaska and Hawaii. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 46 years, Karen, and his 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don Sr and Margaret and his older sister, Judy. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his children Kimberly, Christopher (Kelley), and Jonathon (Hilary) and his grandchildren Avery, Rylan, Macy, Peyton and Ethan. Don's family will receive friends 2-3 PM Tuesday, June 8 at Schoedinger Grove City 3920 Broadway where a memorial service will follow at 3 PM. Pastor Larry Baker will officiate.
