

Donald Edsel Mueller passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 11, 1920 to Arnold and Gladys (Ford) Mueller. He met his wife Betty (Mueller) at Starling Junior High; they married in 1941 and celebrated their 71st anniversary in June. He graduated from West High in 1937 and worked at Jaeger Machine Co. before serving three years in the Army. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in the Pacific during WWII. He later worked for 7-Up Bottling Co. and Prudential and won many top sales awards. He was a member of American Legion Post 164. He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Donna Price of Grove City, and son, David (JoAnn) Mueller of Denver; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Price (Ryan Alessi) of Louisville, Ky. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, at Schoedinger-Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grove City, Ohio, with burial following at Galloway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
