Born on August 11, 1950, Donald was a proud graduate of Upper Arlington High School. At the age of eighteen, he answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in September 1968. Following boot camp in San Diego, California, he was deployed to Vietnam, where he was stationed at Landing Zone Baldy, approximately 26 miles south of Da Nang.
During his deployment, Don served in supply logistics, a vital position ensuring his unit received the resources and materials essential to their mission. His work demonstrated the steadfast commitment, discipline, and dependability that defined him as a Marine.
After returning home, Don remained deeply proud of his service and the values instilled in him by the Marine Corps—honor, courage, and commitment. He was grateful for the exemplary care he received throughout his life from the Veterans Administration.
The son of Carl F. Seeger, Jr., a decorated World War II veteran, Donald’s dedication to service ran deep. His honorable military experience was central to his identity, influencing both his personal and professional life.
A Christian, entrepreneur, and Certified Public Accountant, Donald worked with small businesses throughout his career. Beyond his professional pursuits, he had a deep love for cars, a passion for Chef-O-Nette, and a great joy in hearing stories about his children, grandchildren, and their pups.
Donald shared a close bond with his mother, Gloria E. Seeger, who passed away in 2023 with her son lovingly by her side.
He is survived by his children: Robert D. Seeger (wife Meredith, children Michael, Jack, and Ryan), Heather All Atsaves (husband Tony, children Costa and Lucia), and David M.J. All (Seeger). He is also survived by his sister, Linda Myers of Florida and former wife, Sandra All (Sterner).
Don was laid to rest with full military honors at Union Cemetery in Columbus, near his beloved mother and father.
