Donald E. "Don" Shearer, age 87, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Hoover Haus in Grove City, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; Delbert and Velma (Heisey) Shearer, daughter; Julie Ann Shearer, sisters; Ruth Shearer and Norma Nelson. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joy, his children; Alan (Donna) Shearer, James (Kay) Shearer, Mark Shearer, Kelly (Jeff) Willey, grandchildren; Rachel Cantrell, Zach Willey, Catherine Smith, Cory Shearer, great grandchildren; Eli Cantrell, Amelia Smith, brother; Lowell (Rebecca) Shearer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Don was a graduate of Milton Union High School and went on to work for the IBEW as an Electrician for 35 years. He enjoyed taking a morning walk, crossword puzzles and was very handy around the house, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and being a part of their lives.
