Donald C. Turner, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2013. He was born January 18, 1934, in Columbus to the late Roy E. and Lucille G. Turner; also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Raugh. Don served in the U.S. Navy and owned Acme Portable Welding. He loved fishing, hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Pat (Cooke); sons, Tom (Carole), David (Karen) and Scott (Winita); 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family will welcome their family and friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday, September 30, 2013; funeral service at 10am Tuesday, at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204; interment to follow at Alton Cemetery; Fr. Tony Dinovo, Celebrant.
