Donna June Phillips

Donna June Phillips, age 66, of Upper Arlington passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her home. Donna was born on December 3, 1943 in Columbus to the late Merrill F. and Marguerite Phillips. Donna is also preceded in death by her brother, Charles M. Phillips. Donna graduated from West High School. Donna was best friends with her sister, Marilyn. They were involved in several activities together, including the Eastern Star Triangle Chapter No. 592 and were members of Riverside United Methodist Church for 40 years. Donna and Marilyn also shared their talent of ceramics together; even teaching ceramics out of their home. Donna had a giving heart. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was a great conversationalist and talented poet, having written over 400 poems. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Donna is survived by her sister, Marilyn K. Phillips; niece, Cassandra Soucy of Ellington, CT; and nephew Charles F. Phillips of Stafford, VA. A graveside service for Donna will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. Reverend David Griebner officiating.
