

Doris Mae Paris, age 86, of Upper Arlington, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born to the late Charles and Mae Steiner in Justus, OH on July 27, 1925. Doris was a loving mother, giving friend, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a longtime member of both Xenos Christian Fellowship and Riverside United Methodist Church. Doris was a dedicated volunteer at many Capa and Broadway Shows, Active member of Upper Arlington Senior Center, and Senior Circuit Malibu Racecars, where she was known as “Daring Doris.” An avid OSU football and basketball fan, she never missed a game. She worked for Highlights for Children magazine. Doris will be remembered for the love and special memories she created, that touched so many people’s lives. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Ben” Paris; son, Keith Paris; siblings, Robert, William, James Steiner and Velma Zimmerman. She is survived by her loving daughter, Judy (Anna Noble) Paris; daughter-in-law, Libby Paris; grandchildren, Charlie, Benny, and J.B; 6 great-grandchildren; and faithful companion, Bouncer.
