Doris Marie Stout

Doris Marie Stout, age 88, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. Doris was born and raised in Racket, West Virginia, daughter of the late Henry and Lydia Lewis. Also preceded in death by her son, Robert Stout, sisters, Indus Lewis, Inez Starr, Evelyn Forrest, Edith White, and Dorothy Mixer, and brothers, Rev. Lowell Lewis and Hale Lewis. Doris retired from Mt. Carmel East Hospital where she worked as a phlebotomist. Doris was a spiritual woman who was an active member of Columbia Center Community Church. She was a great listener to many, a woman who was interested in life, and also a person who loved having her family surround her. She will be greatly missed by her children, Charles (Peggy) Stout and Kathryn Fairchild; grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Bryan, and Kristie; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Ryan, Lindsey, and Alex; sisters, Lynda Arlis Hersman and Betty (Joe) Gilliland; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
