Dorothea N. Griffiths

Dorothea (Nestich) Mills Griffiths of Loudonville passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. She was born January 14, 1922 in Cuyahoga Falls to Stephen and Magdelena Nestich. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary and Margaret: and brothers, Stephen, Louis and Joseph. Also by her husband, Benjamin J Mills; and their son, Benjamin J "Jeff " Mills; and by her second husband, Evan J Griffiths. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Mills Fries (Peter ) of Waynesville, NC and Boca Raton, Florida and Julie Mills Wentz of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and by her beloved grandchildren, Alyssa Wentz Dyas of Columbus and Benjamin David Wentz of Chagrin Falls.

She was a 1939 graduate of Loudonville High School. In addition to being a devoted mother she served many years as Village Income Tax Administrator in Loudonville. She later pursued a career as a Realtor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in the Ladies Garden Club. Private graveside services will be officiated by Pastor John Fitch at the Loudonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Dorothea Mills Griffiths Memorial Fund in care of the Farmers and Savings Bank 120 North Water Street Loudonville Ohio 44842 to benefit the Loudonville Public Library.
