Dorothy Mae Baker

Dorothy Mae Baker (nee Mominee), age 87, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. She was born June 21, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Raphael and Esther (Zunk) Mominee; also preceded in death by her devoted husband of 69 years, Harold E. Baker, sister Eilean Wiseman (Mominee), and nephew Gary Baker. Dorothy was a wonderful cook! She also spent endless hours creating beautiful works of embroidery and sewing, as well as other arts and crafts. She enjoyed working at The Anderson's General Store. Being involved in the VFW- Women's Auxiliary was also an important part of her life. Above all, she loved her family, including sons, Brad, Don, and John Baker; daughter, Paula (Avry) Davidovich; grandchildren, Julie and Chris Baker, Alex and Max Davidovich, and Andrew, Mike, and Arie Baker; great grandchildren, Hannah, Natalie, Chase, Ethan, and Brendon; nephews, Russell (LeAnn) and Bobby (Pat); and niece, Judy as well as Gary's wife, Judy. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 1:00PM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
