Dorothy J. Dale

Dorothy J. Dale, 90, of Delaware, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011. She was born May 31, 1921 in Columbus to the late Kenneth and Gladys (Fox) Koontz. She was a graduate of Columbus North High School. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, special friend Rex Sparks and sister Carolyn (Kip) Sandusky, She is survived by siblings Marge Verrico, Buffalo, NY and Kenneth (Betty) Koontz, Atlanta, GA, special niece Sheryl (Steve) Leader, numerous nieces and nephews, including those locally, John (Susie) Sandusky, Dorothy (Bob) Cline, and Barb Sandusky (Jen Tate), numerous great nieces and nephews, her beloved dog Maddie. Graveside service will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Sunset Cemetery. SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL is assisting the family. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the entire staff at Willowbrook at Delaware Run (her other family) for their loving care and special friendship.
