Dorothy Lucille Mathews

Dorothy Lucille Mathews, age 95, of Grove City, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10, 2014. She was born in Columbus on February 12, 1919 to the late Harry and Helen Miller. She was a longtime cook for Southwestern City Schools and later went on to retire from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Grove City Chapter #502 of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Mathews; siblings, Betty Murray, Loretta Fannin, and Minor Miller. She is survived by her children, Bill (Marilyn) Mathews, Barb (Mike) Smith, and Peg (Bob) Brungarth; sister in-law Audrey Miller-Smith; special friend, Marian Breckinridge; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
